Malayali doctor of Thiruvananthapuram found dead in Gorakhpur

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A Malayali doctor was found dead in BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur. The dead has been identified as Abhisho David (32) of Neyyattinkara in Thiruvananthapuram. He was a junior doctor in the anesthesia department of the hospital. His body was found in the hostel room at around 10 am on Friday. Gorakhpur City SP Abhinav Tyagi told media that the reason behind the death has not been found yet.

Medicines and syringes were recovered from his room. Police said there is no mystery in the death. A case has been registered for unnatural death. Abhisho's family has reached Gorakhpur. His wife is a gynecologist and she is pregnant. He died when she had decided to come home for delivery. Police said that more information on Abhisho's death can be released only after getting the postmortem report.
