Sanjay Krishnan's hostel room number 72 at Maharaja's College, Ernakulam is like Moolankuzhiyil Sahadevan's car in the movie C.I.D. Moosa. Sanjay just needs to press the switch under the bed to open and close the doors and dry the clothes. He doesn't have to go near the window to open the curtains. He can control all this while lying on the bed.
These are all the inventions of Sanjay, a final year PG student of Maharaja's College and a native of Chemmanad, Kasaragod. The master switchboard that controls all the activities is installed under the bed. The operation is done by attaching gear motors to the windows and doors. When the switch is pressed, the door hook will move by itself. There is also a switch to stop all the electrical appliances in the room at once. User can charge their phone and power bank under the bed itself.
There is also a facility to dry clothes. When you press the switch, the shirt hung on the hanger will spin at a certain speed. It will dry quickly. Sanjay only spent a small amount on the motor and the switch.
