'Did intimate scene with me after having Chinese food'; Actress Vidya Balan about famous actor

Long 20 years have passed since the release of Parineeta, Vidya Balan's first Hindi film. Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, the film starred Sanjay Dutt and Saif Ali Khan. Vidya Balan revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she had an intimate scene with Sanjay Dutt in the film, and how the veteran actor made her comfortable in the scene. Vidya Balan had spoken about Sanjay Dutt checking on her during and after the shoot to see if she was okay with how things had gone.

In a recent interview, when asked about preparations undertaken before an intimate scene, Vidya replied on how actresses in general were aware of their teeth, nose and basic hygiene.

Vidya Balan:

“Some of us are very concerned about the body odour. Once, an actor came to do an intimate scene with me just after having Chinese food. He didn’t care to brush, nor did he take any mint to refresh his mouth odour. While doing the scene, my thoughts were with his life partner for adjusting with him. At that time, I didn’t confront him as I was scared and a newcomer.”
