Class 10 girl delivers baby, 15-year-old unaware of father’s identity, probe centers around kin 

KASARGOD: A tenth-class girl in Kanhangad has given birth to a baby. She delivered the baby at home yesterday. She was later admitted to the hospital after suffering physical discomfort. The incident came to light then. The girl told police that she does not know who is responsible for her pregnancy.

The police have recorded the statement of her mother. Have got some hints from it. One of her relative is suspected. Further steps will be taken after a DNA test. The girl will be subjected to counseling as her health improves.
