Youngster stabbed to death during argument in Tirur

TIRUR: A young man was stabbed to death during an argument in Vadikal on Thursday. Kattilepalli native Tufail (26), son of Manaf and Safara couple, died in the incident. Two people were taken into custody by the police in the incident. An argument between two groups over one of them taking away the ignition key of the vehicle ended in murder. The incident took place at 5 pm on Thursday.

Tufail was stabbed in the upper abdomen. His sister and locals took him to Tirur District Hospital, but his life could not be saved. The police are questioning the accused. The body will be buried at Kattilapally Juma Masjid Kabarsthan after the postmortem today. Siblings: Safina, Afzal, Fazil.
