'Warned him several times not to trust people feigning friendship'

Social media influencer Sharanya Mol KS has come out in support of rapper Vedan in the sexual assault case. Sharanya Mol smelled foul play in the increasing number of sexual assault cases filed against Vedan and said that she would continue to give him motherly love and support till her last breath.

“After watching the video posted by the victim regarding the Vedan case, a famous lawyer in an interview on Amrita TV mentioned that the case won’t stand.

It was two months back that cases started piling up against Vedan when the youngster was at the peak of his popularity in Kerala. In remorse, Vedan tendered his apology and admitted that his private life was far from perfect. However, the people in the ‘gallery’ wanted the complete downfall of the singer.

Vedan's first album, ‘Voice of Voiceless’, came out in June 2020. It was a time when he was not even remotely popular in Kerala. Vedan, during those times, was roaming aimlessly, with no clue about his future. It is being said that Vedan sexually assaulted a slew of girls during this time at his apartment. He barely survived those times and was not a rich personality, to take all these girls to his apartment at a whim.

After some time, Vedan was caught in a ‘me-too’ controversy, and he was shattered. I met him then, and he admitted to me his mistakes in relationships. However, I boosted his confidence and asked him to start anew, as I knew well that he would make a mark in the milieu.

I had warned him to be careful about whom to trust and not to. I very well knew the sinister thoughts of the people trying to trample down Vedan.

I’m sure this post will trigger many, and I might lose many of my followers for supporting Vedan. However, I put my convictions above everything and will continue to speak what I feel is the truth.”
