Playing with brother outside: One-and-a-half-year-old toddler girl dies after falling into bucket of water

NAGERCOIL: A one and a half year old girl died after falling into a bucket of water at home. The deceased is the younger daughter of Jino and Diana, who live in Leon Nagar, Colachel. Riyan and her three and a half year old brother were playing in front of the house. Diana went outside after not hearing Riyan's voice and saw her daughter lying in the water in the bucket. Riyan was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital but could not be saved. The police have launched an investigation.
