Air India flight bound to Indore returns to Delhi after fire indication

NEW DELHI: An Air India flight bound for Indore made an emergency landing at Delhi airport minutes after takeoff. The airline informed that it was diverted after receiving a fire warning in one of the engines. The diverted flight was Air India flight AI2913.

The plane landed safely and no injuries were reported, the airline said. The airline said it would conduct further checks and passengers would be transferred to another aircraft to continue their journey. The authorities said they had informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, about the incident.
