LUCKNOW: Squabbles and fist fights over food are not new. Fights over pappadum, peanuts and Lays potato chips are famous. Now the latest to join this group is samosa. A husband and wife had an argument over not buying samosa and the in-laws joined in. The incident has become a police case.
The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh. A man named Shivam Kumar and his wife Sangeetha had an argument over samosa. Sangeetha had told her husband to buy samosa when he came home, but he forgot to buy the snack. Shivam Kumar assured his wife that he would definitely bring them the next day, but Sangeetha did not listen to her husband and got into an argument with him.
The next day, Sangeetha informed her parents about this and called them home. Sangeetha's parents and relatives spoke to Shivam Kumar. Although it was thought the matter would be resolved, it took an ugly turn when Sangeeta, along with her mother Usha, father Ramladaite, and uncle Ramotar, allegedly attacked Shivam. The police registered a case against the wife and her in-laws on the complaint of his mother.
