Xylem Learning founder Dr. Ananthu S. ventures into film production with Dr. Ananthu Entertainment

KOCHI: Dr. Ananthu S, the founder and CEO of’ Xylem Learning’ educational group and the biggest ed-tech founder in South India, is venturing into the film industry with the launch of his new production company, Dr. Ananthu Entertainment. The company's logo was recently unveiled at a grand ceremony held in Calicut.

Dr. Ananthu S., a pioneer of "Edutainment" in Kerala, sees his move into filmmaking as simply "widening and exploring my creative space and way of expression." The educator, known for his unique and creative teaching style, spoke on the occasion and shared that he views his entry into the film field as a natural extension of his work.

The 29-year-old doctor is driven by his deep passion for the world of cinema. With an eye toward creating a wide range of entertainment content, including both digital media and big-budget feature films, Dr. Ananthu Entertainment has already begun production on six Malayalam films, with official announcements expected in the coming days. These projects will involve collaboration with some of the film industry's best talented professionals.

An MBBS graduate from Alappuzha, Dr. Ananthu has won the hearts of students across Kerala with his unique and effective teaching methods through his Calicut-based educational group, which operates both within and outside Kerala.

Dr. Ananthu's Xylem Group has a massive online presence, over 1 crore people gain value from Xylem’s different YouTube channels and 10 lakh paid users on the Xylem app. Additionally, the group serves nearly 30,000 offline students across various segments, including UPSC, PSC, NEET, JEE, CA, and ACCA, along with coaching for school students. Dr. Ananthu S. is also well-known for his numerous philanthropic activities.
