MALAPPURAM: A snake master was bitten while catching a python at Purathur in Malappuram. Snake Master identified as Musthafa Tirur was bitten by the snake Tuesday morning. The snake bit him near his finger. The locals of the area had caught the snake and caged in a coop. Musthafa was bitten when he was trying to take it out from the coop. The visuals of it have emerged.

The snake bit Musthafa when he was trying to bring the snake out by catching on its tail. Although he was bitten, he sought treatment only after catching the snake. Since it is a python, Musthafa does not have any other issues. The snake had arrived at the house of Babu of Purathur.

The snake was found near the shed on Monday night. The locals caught and put the snake in a sack and then dumped in the coop, but somehow it came out. Then Musthafa and his team came and took the snake out of the coop. The snake has been handed over to the forest department.
