Police to seek legal advice to file case against E N Suresh Babu for his sexual remarks against Shafi Parambil

PALAKKAD: The police are planning to seek legal advice to file a case against CPM district secretary E N Suresh Babu for his sexual remarks against Shafi Parambil MP. The police stand is that no action will be taken without legal advice since a third party has filed a complaint. The two complaints against Suresh Babu will be handed over to Palakkad SP North police.

A Congress leader from Alathur and the Palakkad Block Congress Committee have filed a complaint against Suresh Babu. Will a case be valid if filed? Legal advice is being sought to know if there is any substance in the case. The police have also informed that they will examine the video related to the case. If necessary, Shafi Parambil's statement will also be registered. The police have also informed that Shafi Parambil has not filed a complaint directly. The Palakkad Block Congress Committee has decided to hold more protests if the police do not take action within three days.

Suresh Babu made the remarks saying that he is challenging Shafi Parambil demanding to oust the MLA facing sexual allegations from the Congress.
