MUMBAI: India lifted its ninth Asia Cup crown by beating Pakistan for the third time in just three weeks. Surya and his team proved that in T20I cricket, while a solid start in batting and bowling matters, what truly decides the game is how well you finish in both departments. After India's Asia Cup triumph, many people, including former players, came forward to congratulate the team. Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh also shared his wishes by posting a set of team pictures, and fans of Malayali player Sanju Samson turned it into a celebration.

Yuvraj shared around ten pictures of Team India from the Asia Cup. One of them featured Sanju Samson. That single photo became a highlight, as Sanju’s fans flooded it with love. While the team group photo received around 1,400 likes, Sanju’s batting picture alone got 44,000 likes. Interestingly, the photos of players like Shubman Gill and Tilak Varma didn’t even cross 2,000 likes. Many Malayali fans also commented under the post praising Sanju’s performance.

Meanwhile, Tilak Varma was the key in India’s chase, taking the score from 20/3 to 150/5. He remained unbeaten with 69 runs off 53 balls, hitting three fours and four sixes. Sanju Samson contributed 24 runs from 21 balls, while Shivam Dube scored 33 runs from 22 balls, both supporting Tilak’s fight. Rinku Singh, playing his first match of the tournament, scored the winning run with the very first ball he faced, sealing India’s title victory.
