Shooting by Bishnoi gang in Canada after being declared terrorist entity; Fateh Portugal claims responsibility 

OTTAWA: Attack by the Bishnoi gang in Canada. The attack comes days after the Canadian government declared the group a terrorist entity. A member of the group took responsibility for the shooting on social media and explained the reason for the attack. Fateh Portugal, a Bishnoi gang member, took responsibility for the shooting.

Fateh Portugal says the reason for the attack was that a man named Navi Teshi used the name of Lawrence Bishnoi to extort money from people. Fateh Portugal claimed in the post that Navi Teshi had extorted 5 million from singers, which is why they opened fire at his locations.

Words of Fateh Portugal:
"I am Fateh Portugal speaking. We are now taking responsibility for shooting at places belonging to Navi Teshi. All these places belong to Navi Tesi, and for the past three days we have been carrying out shootings at these locations. Navi Tesi forcibly collected 5 million from singers in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Therefore we are after him," the post read.

"We do not have enmity with hard-working people. Those who earn their living through honest work and respect our youth — we have no quarrel with them. If anyone spreads false news in future, then the responsibility for any harm to the lives or businesses of those traders will be yours, not ours. Our method may seem wrong, but our intention is not wrong," Fateh Portugal added.

The Canadian government had declared the Bishnoi group as a terrorist organization last week. Canadian Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree said in a statement that 'acts of violence and terror have no place in Canada, especially those that target specific communities to create a climate of fear and intimidation.' The shooting, which followed the terrorist designation, has become a new security threat in Canada.
