NEW DELHI: No more worries about nature calling while travelling on the National Highways. The National Highways Authority of India is ready to take action. NHAI has decided to launch a new scheme as part of promoting cleanliness in public toilets at toll plazas. NHAI has promised a reward of Rs 1,000 to those who report dirty toilets. The money will be credited to the FASTag accounts of those who report it.
This can be done till October 31. Those who want to get a reward of Rs 1000 should download the 'Rajmargyatra' app. They can click and send geo-tagged photos of dirty toilets at toll plazas under the jurisdiction of the National Highways Authority of India. The place and time of clicking the photo should be included with the photo. The name of the person applying, mobile number and vehicle registration number must be submitted along with the application. A VRN number can get Rs 1000 only once.
The reward for reporting a toilet will be given only once a day. If multiple users share a picture of the same toilet, the reward will be given to the first picture captured through the app. Artificially created or dated pictures should not be shared. Applications will be subject to AI verification.
