KSRTC Swift bus rams into bridge in Iritty; eight persons injured

KANNUR: Eight persons were injured after a KSRTC Swift bus rammed into a bridge in Iritty. The Swift bus involved in the accident was travelling from Bengaluru to Payyannur. The accident occurred at around 4 am today. According to sources, the bus lost control and crashed into the iron bridge while travelling to Payyannur after dropping passengers at Iritty town.

The injured people, including the bus staff, have been admitted to the private hospitals in Iritty and Kannur. Police have launched an investigation into the accident.
