NEW DELHI: A fire broke out in the apartments allotted to MPs' in Delhi. The fire broke out at around 12:30 pm from the Brahmaputra Apartment, which is 200 meters away from the Parliament. No casualties have been reported.

The fire force has reached the spot and is continuing to douse the flames. It is reported that the fire first broke out in the place where the furniture was stored and then it spread to the flats. The cause of the fire is not clear.

Jebi Mather MP's flat is here. 'My flat is on the fourth floor. The fire has not spread there yet. I have spoken to the staff in Delhi. It is a big negligence to say that the godown where the furniture was stored caught fire. A proper investigation is needed. The first thing is to douse the flames. A proper investigation should be conducted after that,’ said Jebi Mather.
