PATHANAMTHITTA: Opposition leader VD Satheesan said that the cases against Ayyappa devotees who staged a Namajapa protest against the violation of rituals in Sabarimala will be withdrawn if the UDF comes to power. He was inaugurating the Mahasangamam held in Pandalam to conclude the Congress's faith protection yatras.

"There is no doubt that the UDF will come to power with a hundred seats. The UDF will continue the fight until the articles stolen from Ayyappa are returned. Pinarayi Vijayan and Kadakampally Surendran know who stole Ayyappa's gold. Kadakampally should disclose which millionaire is holding the gold now," said the opposition leader.

Muraleedharan arrived late

Northern region March Captain K Muraleedharan arrived late for the event. He was in Guruvayur. Rumours had spread that Muraleedharan, who was unsettled in the name of the KPCC office bearers' list, would not be attending the event. Muraleedharan reached the venue at 9.45 pm after persuasive talks by Congress leaders.
