Kerala visit: President Droupadi Murmu to arrive in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday evening

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: President Droupadi Murmu will arrive in the state on Tuesday evening to participate in various events over four days. Her schedule includes visits to Sabarimala and Sivagiri, unveiling the statue of former President K.R. Narayanan, and attending the jubilee celebrations of St. Thomas College in Pala and St. Teresa’s College in Ernakulam.

She will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram tomorrow at 2:30 PM via a special Air Force plane from Delhi. After the welcome, she will travel by road to the Raj Bhavan for dinner and rest. On the 22nd, she will leave by helicopter at 9:25 AM to Nilakkal, reach Pamba by 11 AM, and arrive at Sabarimala at 11:50 AM. From Pamba, she will proceed to the sanctum via a special Gurkha jeep provided by the Devaswom Board. She will return to Pamba at 3 PM and fly back to Thiruvananthapuram by helicopter at 4:20 PM, staying overnight at Raj Bhavan.

On the 23rd, at 10:30 AM, she will unveil the half-body statue of K.R. Narayanan at Raj Bhavan. At 12:50 PM, she will be the chief guest at the Sree Narayana Guru Mahasamadhi Centenary celebrations at Varkala Sivagiri.

On the 24th, she will land at Kochi Naval Base at 11:35 AM and attend the centenary celebrations of St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam as the chief guest. After lunch at Bolgatty Palace, she will depart for Delhi from the international airport at 4:05 PM.
