‘Messi to arrive’, disappointment of Malayalees will be changed; Ticket sales to start within a week 

NEW DELHI: Good news for fans in Kerala waiting to see football legend Lionel Messi. Messi is visiting Hyderabad as part of the 'Goat Tour to India 2025' and Malayalees will get a chance to see him, confirmed prominent sports entrepreneur Satadru Dutta, the sole organizer of the event.

Messi's visit to India is expected to be made a pan-India event. Dutta clarified that Hyderabad has been included in the tour so that a large number of fans in South India will get a chance to see Messi in the wake of the cancellation of the match scheduled for November 17 in Kochi. Dutta had earlier brought legendary players like Pele, Diego Maradona, Ronaldinho, and Emiliano Martinez to India.

Dutta said Messi is likely to visit India on December 12 or 13. He will tour Kolkata in the morning on 13th and Hyderabad in the evening. Messi will attend events in Mumbai on the 14th and Delhi on the 15th. Dutta also claims that Messi will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.

The organizer said the event in which Messi will participate will be held at the Gachibowli Stadium or the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Dutta informed that ticket sales will start within a week. It is reported that Messi will be accompanied by Luis Suarez and Rodrigo de Paul.
