Three-month-old baby dies after falling into well from mother’s arms in Kannur

KANNUR: A three-month-old baby boy slipped from his mother’s arms and died after falling into a well. The incident happened Monday morning at Kurumathur in Kannur. The baby named Alan, born to Jabin and Mubasheera accidentally slipped from his mother’s arms and fell into the well.

The woman told people nearby that the baby accidentally slipped from her hand when brought him to bathe near the well. The people nearby rushed to the spot hearing the woman’s screams and took him to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.

The body has been shifted to Pariyaram Medical College Hospital. The Taliparamba police have registered the woman’s statement.
