One found dead inside car in front of bank at Pettah in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: One person was found dead inside a car in front of the SBI Bank at Pettah in the capital city. The dead has been identified as Madhavan Ajaya Kumar of Aswathy House in S N Nagar. The body was first noticed by the bank employee Tuesday morning at 9 am. He was on the driver’s seat in the red colour Swift car.

There were remnants of froth around his mouth. The employees immediately informed the police. The police arrived and started the inquest proceedings. The employees said Ajaya Kumar had come to the bank on Monday. However, the car was not there when the bank closed last evening.

He was an engineer in the Gulf and has been in the state for the past 12 years. He left home yesterday morning. His phone was switched off when called him. His family thought that he may have gone to his relative’s house. His wife Lekha predeceased him and Akash and Aswathy are his two children.
