Cherpulassery SHO found hanging in official quarters

PALAKKAD: The Station House Officer (SHO) of the Cherpulassery Police Station, Binu Thomas (52), was found dead at his official quarters. The officer, who hailed from Thottilpalam in Kozhikode, was found hanging inside the quarters on Saturday morning.

Colleagues found him hanging from the ceiling fan early in the morning. A suicide note was also recovered from the quarters. Police said the exact reason for the death is not yet known. Binu Thomas had been transferred to Cherpulassery six months ago.
