Local holiday tomorrow; Educational institutions, govt offices to remain closed, no change in exams

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram district collector has declared a local holiday tomorrow, the first day of the annual Uroos festival at the Beemapally Dargah Shareef. The holiday is applicable to all educational institutions and state government offices within the Thiruvananthapuram corporation limits, except local government institutions and government offices involved in the election work. The holiday is not applicable to previously scheduled public exams. The Beemapally Uroos will be held from tomorrow to December 2.
