Stones pelted at LDF candidate’s house in Thrissur

THRISSUR: Stones were pelted at a candidate’s house in Mapranam. The incident happened last night at 9.30 pm near Thaliyakonam. Stones were pelted at the house of Vimi Bijesh, the LDF candidate of ward 41 of Irinjalakuda municipality.

Vimi was not at home at the time of the incident, she was out electioneering. Her husband Bijesh is abroad. Only her aged mother and two children were at home. They got scared and immediately informed her via phone about the incident. On being informed by the residents nearby, the Irinjalakuda police arrived and started an investigation focusing on the CCTV visuals.
