KOCHI: Kerala is eagerly waiting to see the fate of actor Dileep, as the verdict of the actress assault case will be pronounced today. Ernakulam Principal Sessions Judge Honey M. Varghese will pronounce the verdict at 11 am.
The prosecution's findings in the infamous actress's sexual assault case:
Dileep suspected that the actress was spreading extramarital gossip involving him and Kavya Madhavan, and she even informed Manju Warrier about this relationship. In 2013, when Kavya was humiliated by the actress at the 'Amma' rehearsal camp, Dileep got enraged. This incident led him to seek ways to ruin the actress’s career.
Dileep conspired with Pulsar Suni to mentally debilitate and humiliate the actress. He suggested filming nude scenes of the actress. Dileep promised Rs. 1.5 crore as an offer to Suni. The meeting took place at Abad Plaza Hotel in Kochi in 2013.
Pulsar Suni, who was a driver on the film set, met Dileep in the parking lot of the Joys Palace Hotel in Thrissur in 2015. Suni took an advance of Rs. 10,000 and deposited it in his mother's account. In 2016, he took another Rs. 30,000 in Thodupuzha.
On November 8, 2016, the two conspired in Dileep's caravan at the location in Sift Junction, Kochi. The actress was planning to get married and bid goodbye to the film industry. This led Suni and the team to hasten with the quotation. The conspiracy continued at the tennis club in Thrissur Puzhakkal and at Thodupuzha Shanthigiri College.
Pulsar Suni tried to implement the quotation on the Goa set of Honey Bee-2 in January 2017, but the plan flopped. The conspiracy was activated when he learned that the actress was coming to Kochi to record a promotional song in the second week of February.
