Engineering student ends life in Thrissur, probe begins

THRISSUR: An engineering student was found hanging in Viyyur. The dead has been identified as Akshay Chandran of Thrissur and a civil engineering student. The incident happened last night. Akshay, who was found hanging, was taken to the hospital by the hostel warden and his friends, but his life could not be saved. Initial reports say that it is a case of suicide. Police said more details can be known only after getting the postmortem report. An investigation has started.
