'Welcome to Central Jail' to avoid prison; astrologer's prediction that Dileep will go behind bars

KOCHI: Dileep, who was released from prison, has gained faith in his prayers. Dileep has overcome eight years of crises. After being named as an accused in the actress attack case, Dileep's close friends and family performed pujas and offerings for him. He also performed puja at the Judge ammavan temple in Cheruvally, Ponkunnam. After Dileep's release from prison, he and Kavya Madhavan visited the temple. When Dileep was on remand, his brother Anoop had performed puja at the Judge Ammavan temple. The offerings are ada, karikku, betel leaves and ripe betelnut.

'Jail movie' to avoid prison

'Welcome to Central Jail' is said to be a movie in which Dileep acted to avoid prison days. The movie was released on September 9, 2016, a few months before the actress attack case. Film circles say that an astrologer had predicted that Dileep would end up in prison.

Unnikuttan, who was born while his mother was serving a sentence, has an attachment to the central jail. He was raised in the central jail till he was six years old before being transferred to a child care facility. Unnikuttan dreams of going back to prison, which he considers his home. He even substitutes for real-life punishments of petty crimes just to go back to jail. The story is about Unnikuttan killing two people who tried to kill him and ending up in jail as a real offender. Unnikuttan was played by Dileep.
