CHENNAI: A picture shared by former Indian cricketer R Ashwin on social media has now puzzled fans. Ashwin shared a picture of Bollywood actress Sunny Leone on his X handle. With this, his comment box was filled with laughter and doubts from fans. The cricket world was wondering what was going on.

Ashwin shared a collage of two pictures. On one side, there was a picture of actress Sunny Leone and on the other side, a picture of 'Sadhu Street' in Chennai. Many were puzzled seeing this, but some of his fans understood Ashwin's exact intention. It was found that the former player shared a secret message for Tamil Nadu's young all-rounder Sunny Sandhu.

Sunny Sandhu had performed brilliantly for Tamil Nadu in the match against Saurashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Sunny, playing his second T20 for Tamil Nadu, scored 30 runs off just nine balls. Sandhu played a crucial 37-run stand with century-scorer Sai Sudarshan (101 off 55 balls) to guide the team to victory. With Ashwin's praise, 22-year-old Sunny Sandhu is likely to be in high demand in the IPL 2026 mini-auction. The player's base price is Rs 30 lakh.
