NEW DELHI: Soon after reports emerged that the Kashmir issue was mentioned in the meeting between Pak PM Imran Khan and Chinese President Xi Jinping, India came out repeating that Kashmir is India's internal matter. The Ministry of External Affairs further warned other countries to stay away from its internal matters.

Earlier, Chinese President Xi Jinping had stated that China has been closely observing the developments in the Kashmir issue. Reports also suggested that Jinping has extended support to Pakistan over the issue. Meanwhile, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang on Tuesday said the Kashmir issue should be resolved between New Delhi and Islamabad.
