There is a post office in Finland that handles letters to Santa Claus written in all languages of the world, including Malayalam. Santa Claus's Main Post Office, which sends gifts along with reply letters, was opened in Rovaniemi, Finland, in 1985. The postmaster is dressed as Santa Claus. The employees are dressed as Santa Claus's helpers, the elves.

This Post Office receives more than seven hundred thousand letters a year. There are employees who handle different languages to write replies. Each letter is read, and the emotions and requests of the children in it are evaluated. A letter with Santa Claus's official signature will be sent as a reply.
Special postmark instead of seal
Instead of a wax or traditional seal, mail sent from the Santa Claus' Main Post Office is stamped with a special, unique Arctic Circle postmark. This is to certify that the letter was sent from Santa Claus Village, which passes through the Arctic Circle. The office is built with stones and pine wood to survive the cold of the Arctic Circle. The operation of this Santa Claus Main Post Office is managed by the Finnish national postal service 'Posti'.
