CHERTHALA: Gujarat's Rajkot Airport CISF officer died after falling from a train on Tuesday. G. Rennis (52), son of the late Gopi, of 24th ward of Thanneermukkom Panchayat, died in the tragic incident.

The accident occurred when Rennis was coming from Rajkot to Cherthala by the Humsafar Express train. He had been sleeping after having dinner around 11 pm on Monday. A jawan in the same coach reported Rennis missing at 4 am. It is suspected that Rennis might have fallen off the train while standing near the door in a dizzied state after waking up. The body was found between Sindhudurg and Kankavli railway stations, near an electric post next to the railway bridge. The body is at the Sindhudurg District Hospital morgue.
