Gang of goons brutally attack gym owner and family; son loses teath, caretaker arrested

NEW DELHI: A gang of goons broke into a house and brutally attacked a family in Delhi. The victims were gym owner Rajesh Garg, his wife and their son. The incident took place on January 2 in Laxmi Nagar. Police have released disturbing CCTV footage of the attack.

According to the police, Rajesh Garg was running a gym in the basement of his house along with his wife. A dispute with the gym's caretaker, Satish Yadav, over an alleged attempt to take over the business led to the attack. On January 2, when Rajesh and his wife went to the basement to check a pipe leakage, Satish and his associates arrived at the spot and attacked them.

When the couple's son tried to intervene and protect his parents, the gang caught hold of him, dragged him onto the road, stripped him, and brutally beat him.

The attackers also molested Rajesh's wife. They pulled her by her hair, punched her in the face, and kicked her repeatedly. The gang used iron rods to assault all three victims. The son suffered serious head injuries and lost a tooth in the attack. Rajesh too sustained injuries and swelling on his face. Police said he is in such a condition that he is unable to open his mouth properly.

Police have arrested the main accused, Satish Yadav. A search has been intensified for the other accused- Vikas Yadav, Shubham Yadav, and Omkar Yadav. A case has been registered against the accused under charges including attempt to murder, outraging the modesty of a woman, and assault.
