Girl jumps from school building in Kannur, succumbs to injuries in hospital giving new life to four

KANNUR: A 17-year-old girl, who was undergoing treatment in a critical condition after jumping from a school building in Payyavoor, has died. The dead was a plus two student identified as Ayona Monson (17). Her organs will be donated. She was a student of Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School. She was declared brain dead last night. Her organs will be donated to four people undergoing treatment in Thalassery, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram.

She jumped from the third floor of the school building Monday morning at around 8:30 am. She was a plus two science stream student. The incident happened when her exams were scheduled to happen. Police said that her mother was going abroad and she was disturbed over it. After reaching school in the morning, she went to the top of the building and tried to end her life.
