
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The fifth session of the Loka Kerala Sabha will be held in Thiruvananthapuram on the 29th, 30th and 31st, Speaker A.N. Shamseer announced in a press conference. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the general session at the Nishagandhi Auditorium on the 29th at 5 pm. The Speaker will preside. Opposition Leader V.D. Satheesan will deliver the keynote address.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the Loka Kerala Sabha meeting at R. Sankaranarayanan Thampi Hall at 10 am on the 30th. Following the afternoon, discussions will be held based on eight topics and seven regional meetings. The discussions will be held in eight halls of the assembly from 2.30 pm to 3.45 pm. Regional meetings will be held from 4 pm to 5.30 pm. An open forum will also be organised at University College on the topic of 'Role of expatriates in the construction of New Kerala' from 3 pm on the 30th.
On the morning of the 31st, seven regional meetings and eight thematic committees will be reported at R. Sankaranarayanan Thampi Hall from 9 am to 10.15 am. The 5th Loka Kerala Sabha will conclude with the Speaker's closing speech at 3 pm.
