Korean notes in book; Mystery shrouds death of 16-year-old girl, police suspect cheating

KOLENCHERY: The police suspect mystery after the body of a girl was found in a quarry. The incident happened when she was on her way to the school. The dead was Adithya (16), only daughter of Mahesh of Mamala Kakkad Kinattingalparambu and Remya.

The police have informed that a three-page note written in English was found in the notebook recovered from her bag. The note says that she was depressed on the death of her Korean friend she met via Instagram and that is why she is ending her life. Her note says that her friend died a week ago. I feel sad thinking about my parents, who love me so much. However, I cannot bear the death of my friend.


Some notes written in Korean language were found in her notebook. Police suspect that she was cheated. The police have informed that her phone needs to be examined to get more information. Police said the help of technical experts will be sought to unlock her phone.

Her body was found in an investigation conducted after a school bag was found abandoned on the bank of the quarry at around 9 am yesterday. She was a first-year student of the Lab Technician course at Chottanikkara Govt Vocational Higher Secondary School. The police have concluded that the girl, who had left home to go to school at 7.45 am, jumped into the quarry which is 100 meters away from her house.
