Flew to Kochi in business class; went for wedding in Bentley car; Persian Ragdoll Leilu living a life some can only dream of

KANNUR: Arrived at Nedumbassery Airport in business class from Dubai. Travelled from Kochi to Burnassery, Kannur in a Bentley car worth Rs 10 crore. The car was also brought from Dubai. This VVIP is a three-year-old Persian Ragdoll cat, Leilu.

Leilu is the pet of Shehnaz Khalid‏, a prominent businessman in Dubai and owner of Manresa Real Estate Group. Khalid came to Kerala with his beloved cat on the occasion of his son Dr. Sinan Khalid's wedding on February 1. He usually takes Leilu with him on trips in the Arab world. Khalid said that he brought a Bentley car so that Leilu would be comfy during her travels.

An NOC from the Animal Quarantine Certification Services is mandatory for animals brought from abroad. Leilu arrived at the wedding house as the chief guest after being examined by a veterinarian at the airport and completing the certification process. Leilu will return with Khalid after the wedding rush. Special food will be prepared for the Persian Ragdoll.

Friend's gift
The Persian Ragdoll cat worth up to one lakh rupees was given to Shehnaz Khalid by a friend three months ago. Since then, Leilu has been eating and sleeping with Khalid. What a life this blue-eyed Leilu is living!
