'Attempt to tarnish my image, those who eat rice meals will understand'; Kadakampally Surendran responds

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kadakampally Surendran MLA said that the people of Kerala know the truth. He also responded that an attempt is being made to tarnish it through false propaganda. Kadakampally's response was after a new picture with Unnikrishnan Potty, the main accused in the Sabarimala gold robbery case, was released today. He responded while speaking at a public event organised this morning.

"The people of the state know the truth. Everyone who eats rice meals knows it. They know what this government is like. I am being tarnished through this false propaganda. Efforts are being made for vested interests. Therefore, everyone should proceed with caution. We are going into a big election fight. This government should continue after that fight for the development of our state, the welfare of the poor and for prosperity. The UDF has only commercial interests. They want to come to power and do business. The LDF government needs to come again to speed up the development work that is currently underway," said Kadakampally Surendran.

A picture taken when Kadakampally Surendran visited Unnikrishnan Potty's house for the second time is currently circulating. The picture shows Kadakampally Surendran giving a gift to Potty's uncle's daughter, who received a rank for her degree. However, it is not clear why the minister visited. Uncle Venkateswaran Potty has confirmed that Potty invited his uncle's daughter to the house in Pulimath when the minister arrived. A picture of Kadakampally Surendran visiting Potty's house on another day was also initially released.
