“Suresh Gopi is one among the few people in the industry with whom I still talk. Even after he became minister, I called him two or three times. When my friend’s son had to undergo a kidney transplantation, Suresh Gopi did all the work to ensure the family received the central government’s assistance.
Decades ago, there was an incident when I went to purchase as part of my business. One should carry enough money for purchasing. I was cash crunch at that time and needed financial help. The one person I could rely on was Suresh. At that time, Suresh was taking Rs one lakh remuneration for a movie. Even at that point, he showed no hesitation in lending me Rs 50000. He is a great human being and a perfect family man”
