37-year-old Thai woman weds two Austrians in traditional function

BANGKOK: Although there are people who marry more than a person, it is unusual to marry two people at the same time. One such case has happened in Thailand. A 37-year-old woman identified as Duangduan Ketsaro married two Austrians at the same time. The news of the marriage, which was consensual for all three, has gone viral.

The marriage was solemnized on February 28 in Buriram-Prakhon Chai district of Thailand. The woman, who was previously a freelance music director, met Roman, an Austrian former police officer, while working in Pattaya. Later, she met another Austrian police officer named Macky, who is Roman's friend. As the friendship between the three grew and turned into love, they decided to live together. The wedding was a traditional function held in the presence of close relatives and friends.

Duangduan has three children and two grandchildren from her first marriage. When she spoke to her children and parents about her relationship with Macky and Roman, they gave her full support. The woman says that both of them take care of her family with so much love. The two men gave the woman about Rs 50 lakh as wedding gift.

The woman's 61-year-old mother says that her daughter has been suffering for years and that her happiness is important to her. She added that she is sure that her husbands will take good care of her daughter and family.
