Thrissur gym trainer arrested for sexual assault of multiple women on marriage promise

THRISSUR: A gym trainer was arrested following complaints from two women of sexually assaulting them after promising marriage. Ajmal, a native of Cherpu, Thrissur, was arrested in the incident. He is a trainer at a gymnasium in Kurkancheri.

Ajmal was in a relationship with two young women at the same time. The women were not aware of Ajmal’s shenanigans. Only recently did both come to know that they had been tricked by the youngster just for bodily pleasure. This led to both of them filing a complaint with the police. The complaint also states that one of the women was sexually assaulted after being intoxicated with alcohol.

Police say that many similar cases already exist against Ajmal at the Cherpu police station.
