
KOCHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Kochi today for three events, including the inauguration and laying of foundation stones of development projects and the BJP's assembly election campaign.
PM Modi will first attend the golden jubilee meeting of the Kerala Dheevara Sabha at 12.30 pm at the Marine Drive ground in Ernakulam. At 1.30 pm, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of development projects worth Rs 10,800 crore at a function to be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kaloor.
At the stage set on the stadium premises, PM Modi will talk at the NDA public meeting. Before the meeting, a roadshow will be held from the stadium entrance to the stage. Leaders, including BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar, will attend the meeting to launch the NDA's election campaign.
After the meeting, the Prime Minister will leave for Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu.
