Sonia Gandhi hospitalized, under observation, says report

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has been admitted at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi last night. Sources close to her said that she developed uneasiness due to the change in weather. Her health issues are not so serious and is under observation. Both her children Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are besides her in the hospital.

Sonia, 79, is a Rajya Sabha member from Rajasthan. Sonia was admitted to the hospital in last December for breathing difficulties. She was then admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. She has cough along with breathing difficulties. Hospital authorities said Sonia came for a routine checkup. The authorities said Sonia had difficulty in breathing due to the severe cold and air pollution in Delhi.
