'I'm also a human, I may end my life;: Renu Sudhi breaks down amid online harassment

Following a recent video posted by Kichu Sudhi, the eldest son of the late mimicry artist Kollam Sudhi, his stepmother Renu Sudhi has been subjected to intense online harassment.

Renu Sudhi has now come forward saying that she is unable to even open social media platforms due to the intensity of the harassment. In an emotional response, she said she is under extreme stress and fears she might even consider suicide.

“I can’t open Facebook or Instagram anymore. Is Renu Sudhi the only content for people who create content? Some things really affect me. Whenever I open Facebook to watch something, such videos keep appearing. When I check the comment box, it feels like I have committed some crime. Everyone knows that Renu Sudhi has become ‘content’ for others. They might even be earning money from this. Even after I post this video, people will celebrate it. They say I am acting, that my tears are fake. But I am also a human being. If I want, I can end my life now. I have heard more than I can bear. Some things are holding me back from doing that, but I don’t know how long I can handle this stress,” she said while crying.

Earlier, Kichu Sudhi had shared a video talking about his life since childhood. He spoke about the neglect and loneliness he experienced. He described himself as an introvert who finds it difficult to communicate. After the death of his father, he said he felt extremely lonely and even became addicted to substances for a period. He also mentioned that he does not have a strong relationship with Renu Sudhi. Following this video, cyber attacks against Renu Sudhi intensified.
