KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that Kerala is on the path of rapid development, and that people want this progress to continue. He was speaking at an election campaign event in Dharamdom. He said that every region in Kerala is capable of moving forward in line with global development, and this has already been proven.
“Development activities have taken place in all sectors of the state. We have shown that our state has the ability to move forward along with the modern world. The people of Kerala want this development to continue. The LDF has asked me to contest again in this election from here.
I see this election as recognition of development politics. As a candidate, I had some limitations in being active in the constituency, as I had to take part in campaign activities across Kerala. That is why there was a delay in meeting voters in person. However, from today onwards, I will focus on the constituency," the CM said.
He began his campaign in Dharmadom with confidence that he would receive full support from the voters.
