KOLLAM: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reiterated the film dialogue ‘Nee Po Mone Vijaya’ in a jibe against the Kerala chief minister. Revanth Reddy responded that he will take the insults from the Kerala Chief Minister as a blessing. Revanth, who earlier said that the chief minister is on his way out, hollered ‘Bye Bye Pinarayi’ at a road show in Pathanapuram.

“Pinarayi does not have answers for my questions. He is simply following the footsteps of Narendra Modi. I respect his age and position. I am restricting myself from spewing insults like him only because of my love for the people of Kerala. The people of Kerala want to know the reason behind the strong bond between Modi and Pinarayi,” said Revanth Reddy.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan made a controversial remark against Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the press meet held in the district. When the media asked about Revanth Reddy’s dialogue ‘Nee po mone Vijaya’ while campaigning for Congress Candidate K S Sabarinathan, Pinarayi replied ‘dash mone Revantha.’ which was considered as below the belt.

To come out of the controversy, Pinarayi Vijayan sent a reply letter which began with the address 'Dear Shri Revanth Reddy'.
