
KOCHI: Social media star Rincy Mumtaz was arrested again with MDMA. She was arrested at the MJ Residency near Nedumbassery Airport. The police said that the woman was staying here with the intention of selling drugs.
Along with Rincy, the Nedumbassery police have arrested three more people. The police have arrested Muhammed Rishakh, a native of Vazhakalla, Abhijith, a native of Aluva, and Biju, a native of Nooradu. 3.58 grams of MDMA, which was in their possession for use, were recovered. Rincy Mumtaz, a native of Kozhikode Feroke, used to supply drugs to the film industry.
Rincy was previously caught with MDMA in Kochi in July 2025. At that time, she used to supply drugs to people in the film industry. Rincy spent about ten lakh rupees just to buy MDMA. The police said that she also brought cocaine from Bengaluru. The police clarified that most of the people who made money transactions through Google Pay and cryptocurrency were from the film industry.
Rincy is popular on YouTube and Instagram and is well-known among the young stars of Malayalam cinema. Rincy's assistant, Yasser Arafat, was arrested earlier. Yasser was the one who supplied drugs and handed them over to those who needed them.
