Dog rescues calf stuck in muddy pond; watch the adventurous video!

There are many people who often shy away from helping those who are in danger, whether it is on road or off road. Well, those people could take some lessons from this cuddly but daring pet dog, who ventured into a muddy pond to rescue a calf with whom he co-habits in a household in Palakkad.

The Labrador, using his own intelligence, jumped into the pond and shoved the calf into the shore safely. The video of this escapade had gone viral.

After reaching the shore, the dog can also be seen barking at the calf as if to scold it. The calf got stranded in the muddy weed-ridden pond after it was allowed to move around for grazing, according to owner of the dog as well as the calf.

The hero is Mathur Kolladu native Balachandran’s pet dog Johny. For the past six years Johny has been the guard of Balachandran’s house.
