Viral ‘Oppana’ brings back memories of crushes during schooldays

School-time crushes and love failures have become the topic of films many a time. Many of such films that immerse people in nostalgia have become big hits. Now, a short film in that genre is becoming viral on the YouTube. The film titled Oppana and directed by Shahad has been viewed by more than Five lakh people within a short time.

Actor-singer Vineeth Srinivasan has sung the song ‘Mohabathin Puthunilavake’ for the film.

The theme of the film is unrevealed pangs of love one had for the other during schooldays. Joyal Johnson has done the music for the film and Vishnu Prasad has cranked the camera. Fresh faces such as Mithun, Athulya and Pranav Yesudas are appearing in the film.

K P Ravishankar and Sharath P Haridasan are producing the film under the banner Blue Planet Cinema.
