PATHANAMTHITTA: Devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran on Friday said that the government did not receive the Supreme court order that asked it to frame a new law for Sabarimala temple. When quizzed about the new law, the minister said that an appropriate decision will be made by the government only after receiving the court order.

Earlier, the apex court had asked the state to frame a separate law for the administration of the Sabarimala temple by the third week of January 2020. In reply, the state government had said that it is treating the Sabarimala issue separately. The court made the order on the plea filed by the Pandalam royal family.
